I knew there had to be a way for me to repair the damage that had been done and to step into a lifestyle that was actually natural and free from toxicants. I didn’t want to begin an endless cycle of prescription medications with their own unique side effects when all of the research to change my situation was available at my fingertips.
I recruited my husband’s involvement and got to work. We became obsessed with turning our hopelessness into hopefulness - into channeling that distraught energy into endless research.
A New Beginning
With research to the brim, my husband and I started making real changes to our lifestyle.
We found products that removed the environmental factors from our life - and before long, we had made such real changes that the hopeless situation I found myself in had vanished and I was free from PCOS.
And that brings us to Mayee.
We knew that we could take the research we had found and help change others lives. We’re on a mission: to educate you and help you change your life free from harmful environmental factors.
The moment I was diagnosed with PCOS felt like no other
At first, instant relief - relief that I wasn’t crazy and there was something wrong - and then, frustration. The moment the doctor said there was no cure crushed my soul.
I felt trapped in this new diagnosis identity. I felt unsure of what this all meant - for my health, my life, my family, my well-being.
My doctor told me PCOS had likely been caused by environmental factors - and that was it. Nothing for me to do, nowhere for me to turn- except in the way of most doctor recommendations - prescription medication.
For years I had made my health a top priority.
Exercise and eating healthy were natural aspects of my routine - and yet there it was - an incurable disease. A disease that meant embarrassing and unwanted facial hair, depression and mood swings, acne-ridden skin, and issues with infertility. I felt completely hopeless. I knew the only thing to do was to make immediate changes in my life, so I started doing everything I could to live a healthier lifestyle. I switched over to all-natural and organic products and away from my tried and true products (ya know, the ones our mamas all taught us to use).
I had exercised regularly, eaten healthy food, used all natural and organic products - and yet PCOS was still after me. A disease I contracted from my environment was still affecting every aspect of my daily life.
When you’re faced with an incurable diagnosis - there are a lot of feelings that run through your mind. Feelings of disappointment, hurt, and frustration. The feeling that stuck with me though was the sense I had been tricked. Was I a fool? Had I really believed the promises so many companies had made to me when I purchased their organic, all natural products?
We’re Kamela and Kerian, a husband & wife team that after a few shocking diagnoses were left feeling hopeless. We were told our conditions were incurable, and that didn’t sit well with us.
So a few years ago, we started researching chemicals and common products that were harmfully affecting our health and ultimately - cured those incurable conditions.
We’re determined to revolutionize health and wellness by exposing the harmful factors within our environment and help you make positive, healthy choices… We don’t believe in conditions without cures.
